Rome is the capital of Italy and the country's largest and most populated city. The city is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, on the Tiber River within the Lazio region of Italy.

The Culture of Rome refers to the arts, high culture, language, religion, politics, cuisine, architecture and fashion in Rome, Italy. Rome was supposedly founded in 753 BC and ever since has been the capital of the Roman Empire, one of the main centers of Christianity, the home of the Roman Catholic Church and the seat of the Italian Republic. Due to its historical and social importance, Rome is often nicknamed the Caput Mundi, or "capital of the world".

 Pasqua - This is the Roman name for Easter, which is a major Catholic holiday in Rome and is celebrated accordingly.  Estate Romana - This festival is a variety celebration that is the largest one of its kind to take place during the summer. During the Estate Romana festival, which is held annually in June, Rome hosts several events including music shows, concerts, film events and many performance shows. Most of the performances are held outdoors to celebrate the beautiful weather that the city enjoys.

 Culture Festival - This festival takes place for a week during spring, and showcases the cultural and historical heritage of the city. During this festival, most of the museums across the city open their doors to the public for free. In addition to free entry, the Culture Festival also sees a large number of music artists perform at the event.
